In January, Nghe An People’s Committee along with the representatives of Ju Teng International Holdings Ltd., and the investor of Hoang Mai 1 Hoang Thinh Dat Industrial Park hosted a virtual signing ceremony for the MoU to develop the project.
According to Le Ngoc Hoa, Vice Chairman of Nghe An People’s Committee, the plant will manufacture electronic components for laptops, tablets, and smartphones. The implementation includes 2 phases. Phase one has a total investment of around 200 million USD, uses an area of 130 hectares, and requires approximately 30,000 workers.
This project started two years ago, but due to the Covid-19 pandemic, the investment has only been implemented recently. In the preparation phase, Nghe An government and Hoang Thinh Dat Company (the investor) coordinated to clear the site, and construct infrastructure for the project.
Hoa said Nghe An officials will offer Hoang Thinh Dat the investment certificate and provide construction support in the first quarter of 2021.
